checking in

It has been more than a month since my last post. Since then we have had much ice and snow. We have been spending a lot of time indoors. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of spring.

Unfortunately our camera battery requires a charger; and we cannot find that charger. Some how it got lost in the shuffle when we moved. So, I haven't gotten many pictures in the last month.

We are working with Bray-Lynne on walking; however she will do that on her own time. As Brandyn said today 'she has many, many years left of walking...why hurry to start?' ... he says that as if he were Bray-Lynne talking. She is a very busy little girl moving from one activity to the next. She doesn't have much time for sleep except at night. She gets to play outside our home on Thursdays when I got to Mom2Mom at Third Reformed Church. We have also decided to join Work Systems Fitness. They have a nice childcare facility so I take Bray-Lynne to play while I get some exercise. It has been a great "out" for us during the winter so far. She now has 8 going on 9 teeth. I think the newest ones have been painful because we catch her 'grinding' her gums together a lot. I found out that she loves Nana's frozen raspberries so that works great as a teether.

Brandyn has been keeping busy despite the weather. He is hard at work hauling corn and doing office work. The crop insurance selling season is fast approaching as well. Him and I have been able to spend more time with our friends lately so that has been nice. We have been able to catch up with 'old' friends and even get out and about thanks to grandparents offering to babysit. We are thankful for that!

Well, I hope that we can stumble upon our charger sometime soon. In the meantime, I'll do my best to keep updating the blog without pictures.
