Trip to Kansas City

This past weekend we made the trip to Kansas City to visit the Marlow family. Bray-Lynne did great on the way there and back. On Friday night we had pizza and played outside. Saturday we went to Legends to walk around and shop and get ice cream. On Saturday night I tried to keep Bray up a little later so she could meet some of their neighbors ... that worked out pretty well. We decided to stay for lunch on Sunday so Scott could smoke some meat for us. He made two pork butts and they were awesome. I don't know why but we did not take many pictures over the weekend. However, I did get some of Bray-Lynne in the car on the way home. We got kind of bored the last hour so I took some pictures of her in her sunglasses (she thinks they're weird).

Bray-Lynne and I went out to Nana & Papa's house for awhile yesterday. It's been almost a week since they've seen her so we spent some quality time on the farm. We ended up staying for supper...finally we got to roast hot dogs & make s'mores! When Aunt Christina & her boys came they had a bonfire; however Bray-Lynne was tired that night & we had to go home. We have been waiting ever since to have a fire out at 'the pond'. I meant to take more pictures but kind of got wrapped up in the moment and forgot. Bray enjoyed herself quite a bit...we found a little tree frog and put it on her leg. I think she wanted to give it a good squeeze but luckily it jumped away before she was able to do that :)
